The Lon makes you feel like you’re completely removed from reality. It truly is magic when you can enter a store on a busy street and not even be distracted by what’s going on right outside. Betsy has an amazing group beside her that assures you’re comfortable every step of not only your service, but your time in the space. Everyone is friendly, interested in getting to know you, and does so all while making you feel like you’re on vacation in your own backyard. My manicure with Carmen was exceptional! I’ve never felt like someone cared so much for a nail service. Carmen was incredibly thorough and made my nails look like new, even before the polish was on. I can’t wait to come back and try more services. The Lon is a gem in Grosse Pointe and we are lucky to have em!

I’ve had numerous services performed here. Each service has been of the utmost quality. Betsy, owner, has done my hair for many years. Each time I leave her chair I feel like a more confident, more authentic version of myself. It’s very difficult to find someone who not only knows how to cut curly hair, but also color very dark hair. Throughout several changes in color, Betsy had always maintained the health of my hair. She’s taught me how to properly care for my hair, how to style my hair, etc. Even more so, Betsy gives back to the community. Each time I’ve asked, she has always so incredibly graciously donated services to whatever fundraiser I was chairing. The environment is warm and friendly, regardless of age, race, size, or gender, everyone is welcome. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone!
